IPC Designer Certification Program

Rather than using specifications just one company’s specifications, this professional development program uses industry standards to evaluate core competencies in PCB design. Participant’s technical knowledge will be enhanced and assessed and they will learn how to convert the description of electrical circuits into PCB designs for manufacturing, assembling and testing.

Training and Certification Program IPC J-STD-001

This course focusses on hand machine soldering and material requirements. Hands-on training is provided and users of the space addendum can do an optional supplementary course. Industry standard application specialists training programs and train the trainer programs are available worldwide at 58 training centers authorized by IPC.

Training and Certification Program IPC-A-600

This course focusses on visually accepting unpopulated printed circuit boards, both flexible and rigid, and is based on IPC-A-600. Industry standard application specialists training programs and train the trainer programs are available worldwide at 30 training centers authorized by IPC.

Training and Certification Program IPC-A-610

This course focusses on visually accepting and quality assurance of electronic assemblies and is based on the electronics assembly acceptability standard used most widely internationally. Industry standard application specialists training programs and train the trainer programs are available worldwide at 72 training centers authorized by IPC.

Training and Certification Program IPC/WHMA-A-620

This course focusses on the acceptance of and requirements for wire and cable harness assemblies. Industry standard application specialists training programs and train the trainer programs are available worldwide at 40 training centers authorized by IPC. Hands-on training is now also available as an option.

Training and Certification Program IPC-7711 & IPC-7721

This course focusses on modification, repair and rework of electronic assemblies. Hands-on training is included. Industry standard application specialists training programs and train the trainer programs are available worldwide at 49 training centers authorized by IPC.

Training and Certification Program IPC-6012

This course focusses on quality assurance and performance of rigid printed boards that are not populated. The training is based on the PC-6012 performance and qualification specification. End production inspection frequency, requirements for structural integrity testing and coverage of performance criteria is included.
